Program Objective
The objective of the program is to qualify professionals in the different fields of applied economics. The program provides students with the 'tool case' they will need to perform applied economic analyses: relevant theoretical knowledge, quantitative models for behavior projection and policy assessment, methods for calculating the monetary value of abstract costs and benefits, methods for working with large databases, familiarization with the global market and knowledge of financial English. In addition, every student will be required to present a final project and use applied economics in order to analyze an economic problem, during a workshop held in conjunction with a financial consultancy firm or the research department of a bank/insurance agency.

Workshop Combined with Final Project
The workshop combined with the final project serves to integrate the program material and test its applicability to Israeli and international reality. The workshop will be led by the head of the program as well as a senior economic analyst in the market.
The workshop is intended to qualify the students by enabling them the opportunity to gain practical experience in large firms, organizations and governmental bodies in Israel. The final project, and its presentation in the workshop, embody all of the knowledge the students received during their studies and professional experiences. The workshop gives students an opportunity to interact directly with a representative of the organization for which they are performing the project, as well as attend private guidance meetings with the head of the program.
