About Us

The School of Computer Sciences has been part of the College of Management - Academic Studies (COMAS) since 1998, providing its graduates with a B.Sc. degree in computer sciences.

The dynamic curriculum changes according to the needs of the high tech industry and university requirements for graduate studies.
The department combines thorough theoretical grounding with practical experience, providing students with deep knowledge not only in computer sciences but also in other relevant scientific / engineering fields. Alongside the study curriculum, students also participate in a technological entrepreneurship program, where senior industrialists and businessmen support them in the process of turning their innovative ideas into real start-ups.

Students can major in one of the following programs: (1) information and Internet / cellular system security, and (2) business administration. Thus students benefit from flexibility allowing them to major in highly sought fields and at the same time to become experts in their areas of interest. On their final project students experience independent learning, and are provided with the opportunity to turn their ideas into reality and develop work habits that meet the highest standards of the industry as well as the academic world.
Two R&D institutes operate under the school: the R&D Institute for Intelligent Video Systems, and the R&D Institute for Intelligent Robotic Systems. Both utilize the department’s faculty, students and alumni to conduct research and development activities.

Our academic faculty consists of senior academics in the fields of computer science, engineering and the exact sciences, as well as highly experienced members of leading Israeli high tech firms. The computerized systems serving our students include spacious, sophisticated PC and UNIX labs, well-equipped project labs with unique signal processing equipment, a computer lineup allowing students to connect from home, and more.
