Jacoby-Volk is a leader and innovator in the field of design education. A member of the establishing committee of the undergraduate program in Interior Design for the Department of Interior Design; Initiates, creates and establishes curriculums, among which are – “Visual Communication and Spatial Design Program”, Masters Program – "Interdisciplinary Program in Design Entrepreneurship and Management".
As head of the Department of Interior Design: updated the undergraduate curriculum as a platform for Graduate Studies and integrated the technological paradigm into the curriculum; Initiated, established and leads the Department of Interior Design’s Designers’ Clinic, the first of its kind in Israel; leads and initiates collaborations with design schools abroad - visiting workshops, lectures, and student exchanges.
Jacoby-Volk creates a leading critical discourse in the fields of Architecture, Design and Art. Founder and chief editor of "Block magazine" - City / Media / Theory / Architecture”. She Curates, initiates, produces and participates in international exhibitions and conferences in architecture, interior design and art. Writes and publishes peer reviewed papers for conferences in Israel and abroad. Lectures and participates on panels and symposia, reviews and judging teams.
Jacoby-Volk has been awarded research grant and prizes from different foundation and organizations.
In her practice, Jacoby-Volk, Designed and planned residential buildings, offices, public institutions including the Israel Ballet in Tel Aviv, Ashdod Arts Center, the Chamber Municipality Municipality of Rishon Lezion and Ashdod.
