The Cross Campus Studies Unit was established in 2010 to optimally manage the diverse range of courses offered by the College of Management - Academic Studies (COMAS) that do not belong to a specific study unit, but rather are open to all students.
The Cross Campus Studies Unit works hand in hand in close collaboration with all COMAS schools and departments.
Operating within the framework of the unit:
English as a Foreign Language Unit
Every year, the English Language Teaching unit provides services to over 3,000 students studying for an undergraduate degree. The study of English as a second or foreign language is a mandatory requirement in all schools and department at the College of Management - Academic Studies (COMAS).
In order to bring them to the required level of proficiency, students are assigned to English courses based on their achievements in the psychometric exam or in the English Proficiency Test (AMIR) conducted by the National Institute for Testing & Evaluation, as accepted in academic institutions in Israel that are accredited by the Israeli Council for Higher Education.
The courses are tailor-made to the specific needs of each school, and provide students with the tools necessary for their chosen discipline.
The English Language Teaching unit provides unique solutions for students with learning disabilities, including use of advanced computer applications.
Interdisciplinary Courses
Interdisciplinary courses such as Introduction to Environmental and Resource Management, Management of Personal and Family Economics, Civil and Social Thinking and Responsibility.
